Welcome back, welcome back. I know I’ve taken a few weeks off, which is sloppy, but for fucks sake these last couple weeks have sucked. It was fun to watch the RBC and to be honest I just lost track of time on that one but the Zurich and the Mexico Open just do nothing for me. I apologize to those that were looking forward to the blogs and I am going to get back into stride of writing each week since thousands if not millions reached out. I also do want to say that despite not writing blogs, I have been working on a few special things for the page. We are finishing up our first merch design as well as setting up our biggest giveaway yet. We will be posting all the updates on IG and TikTok so please make sure to follow!
Now, let’s talk some fuckin golffff
Recap of Last Week
Last week, Jon Rahm fucked around and proved why he’s been the favorite every single week. He strolled into a tournament with a weak board and basically dominated throughout the whole tournament. Each day he finished at least tied for the lead and after the first day it was pretty clear the direction the tournament was heading. Rahm finished with a one stroke lead and took home his first tournament win of the year.
Now let’s move on to this week at the Wells Fargo.
Recap of Last Year

Last year, Rory looked like his old self when he got his first win in what felt like forever. His short game finally returned to what it once was and he all but cruised to this win. The field was a bit stronger than it is this year so I think this held more merit than this week will. Overall, it was a strong performance by Rory and it was something we all thought could have spring boarded him back to his old self but unfortunately we still are waiting for him to follow up from that.
Odds for the Weekend

Pretty average board this week but definitely a slight uptick compared to last week. Here are a few things that I’m looking closely at:
- The course changed from Quail Hollow to TPC Potomac so now playing near DC rather than Charlotte
- Expect colder weather and higher winds than previous years
- Rory opens up as the favorite despite no previous experience here
- Quicken Loans Open was held here in 2017/2018 being the last tournament at TPC Potomac
- Molinari won in 2018
- Kyle Stanley won in 2017
THE PICKS
Winner – Max Homa +4100
Historically, Homa has been one to step up in these smaller tournaments and take advantage of a weaker field. He won this back in 2019 so he clearly has some strong experience playing on the east coast and getting wins. I think 41-1 odds just seems very aggressive against Max and he can definitely make a run for this thing.
Longshot – Rickie Fowler +12000
I don’t get why I always fall for it and even though I can see him getting cut, I can just as easily see Rickie making this his return to glory and finally getting a win. He has been grinding all year, just fighting to get a place in each tournament and now even playing in US Open qualifiers. I think he had to have planned for his game to peak at this time of the year and maybe, just maybe, the course history he has here can bring him to the promised land. Just gotta believe….
Fuck this Guy – Brenden Steele +125
This is primarily a course history play and while Steele has been playing better, he also was on a severe cut streak just a couple months ago. I think he can easily revert to his old ways and miss the cut here.
Mortal Lock – Marc Leishmann Top 20 +200
Leishmann has been a bit hit or miss lately but I think this is a good time for him to pull his game back together. He finished in 30th at The Masters after a sloppy Sunday but he was showing some promise throughout the tournament and he played pretty well at the Zurich with Cam. +200 feels a little too high here so I think it could be a good pay day.
